Weight and delivery
- Shipping weight
- 29.3 kg
Over 20 kg boxed. It arrives tracked and signed for, but plan on two people to move it, and think about where it is going before it is opened.
Shipping weight is the piece, its inner packing and the studio’s outer shipper together, as our distributor states it — not the weight of the statue alone.
Halidom’s note
This is Prime 1 Studio’s Optimus Primal, made under the Transformers licence. It stands 72 cm tall including the base, which makes it a centrepiece: one to a shelf. Pieces this size in polystone can exceed the load rating of standard glass shelves, so confirm both the assembled weight and the shelf’s rating before display; where the net weight is unconfirmed, use a suitably rated solid surface or plinth. Our scale guide has the cabinet measurements.
Our allocation of this piece is currently spoken for. Join the waitlist and we will contact you in order if a reservation is released or another allocation becomes available. No payment is taken.
It is priced at £2,953.99. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing; if a piece is offered to you, you decide then. Delivery to mainland UK is included and, because we import it, there is no duty or courier VAT bill at the door.
Prime 1 Studio, in Tokyo, works mostly at 1/4 and 1/3 in polystone, and its larger pieces are the heaviest things we sell — multi-box deliveries need two people on the day. This sculpt is offered in more than one edition; the comparison further down shows what each adds and what it costs.

Care
Polystone and resin are heavy and brittle rather than flexible. Dust with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth, keep the piece out of direct sunlight to protect the paintwork, and never use solvents or household cleaners on painted surfaces. Lift it by the base, never by a limb, weapon or cape, and take off any separate parts before moving it.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation, whatever the price of the piece: there is no delivery charge at checkout and nothing added when the balance is settled. Most pieces ship with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed in the studio's own shipper; the largest travel palletised or by two-person courier, with a delivery day arranged with you. Once the balance is settled, dispatch follows within a few working days and you will have the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. Or collect it free from the Loaded Dice shop at 28 Holton Road, Barry CF63 4HD: tell us when you reserve or before the balance is requested, and we will email you when it is ready. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the United Kingdom.
Reservations & payment
This piece is on a waitlist: our allocation is currently spoken for. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If a reservation is released or another allocation becomes available, we contact people in the order they joined, and the reservation terms are set out then, before anything is paid.
