Halidom is the statue house of Loaded Dice: a small, specialist shop for premium collectible statues, run from South Wales and sold by reservation to collectors across the United Kingdom.
What Halidom is
Most of what we sell does not exist yet. Prime 1 Studio, Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios make their pieces in editions of a few hundred to a few thousand, and they commit to those editions on the strength of orders placed a year or more ahead. Halidom takes those reservations for UK collectors: a 10% deposit holds the piece, the balance is taken only when the statue is physically with us and ready to ship, and the price you see is the price you pay — duty and VAT already settled, nothing to pay the courier at the door.
We keep the catalogue honest rather than large. Every product page shows the edition's stage, the quarter it is expected to arrive, and the date we last checked that estimate with our distributor. When a date moves we say so, and we show the old date beside the new one instead of quietly rewriting it. The release tracker lists every live estimate in one place.
Who is behind it
Halidom is a trading name of Loaded Dice Ltd, company number 12429789, registered in Wales in January 2020 and filing accounts ever since. Loaded Dice is a hobby and games retailer — Warhammer, board games, trading cards, paints — with a shop in Barry that opened in 2023 and a warehouse in Sully. Your deposit is taken by that company, not by a business with no history behind it.
Graham Scutt is Managing Director of Loaded Dice and has been its director since the company was formed in January 2020. He built Loaded Dice from an online hobby shop into a business with a warehouse, a high-street shop and a team in Barry, and Halidom is that company's next step: the same care for pre-orders and honest dates, applied to statues rather than miniatures. When you place a reservation, it is his company that holds your deposit and stands behind it.
Leigh O'Dell is Assistant Director at Loaded Dice and runs the online side of the business, which includes Halidom. He writes The Journal, chooses what goes into the catalogue, and is the person who answers when you email about a piece. Everything published here — the release estimates, the scale guide, the duty explainer, the film and franchise pieces in the Journal — is written and checked by him, not syndicated.
