Shipping weight is the piece, its inner packing and the studio’s outer shipper together, as our distributor states it — not the weight of the statue alone.
Halidom’s note
This piece is still at pre-order: our distributor is taking orders for it, and it comes to us once the studio has produced it. The studio’s current expectation is Q3 2027, last checked on 14 October 2026. Studio dates on pieces at this stage do slip, which is why we show the history rather than hide it.

Description
Sideshow presents the Doctor Octopus Premium Format™ Figure, a maniacal Marvel collectible that will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
The Doctor Octopus Premium Format™ Figure showcases a mad scientist in pursuit of more power. Dr. Otto Octavius isn’t constrained by ethical or physical boundaries as he bursts out of his laboratory rooftop with metal arms reaching like tentacles to capture an irritating, itsy-bitsy Spider-Man. Bonded to the researcher's brain, these terrifying technological enhancements will help him capture and confine his New York City nemesis.
This fully sculpted Doc Ock collectible depicts him at the pinnacle of scientific achievement. As Sideshow’s very first full take on the character, this Marvel statue blends his classic comic appearance with modern mechanical designs. The Octavius Industries-inspired base even utilizes Greenwich Village architectural aesthetics as both an homage to the story setting as well as a nod to iconic city styles. From numerical Easter eggs to riveting sculptural engineering, the Doctor Octopus Premium Format™ Figure makes for an eye-popping three-dimensional display full of danger and discovery.

Care
Polystone and resin are heavy and brittle rather than flexible. Dust with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth, keep the piece out of direct sunlight to protect the paintwork, and never use solvents or household cleaners on painted surfaces. Lift it by the base, never by a limb, weapon or cape, and take off any separate parts before moving it.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation, whatever the price of the piece: there is no delivery charge at checkout and nothing added when the balance is settled. Most pieces ship with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed in the studio's own shipper; the largest travel palletised or by two-person courier, with a delivery day arranged with you. Once the balance is settled, dispatch follows within a few working days and you will have the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. Or collect it free from the Loaded Dice shop at 28 Holton Road, Barry CF63 4HD: tell us when you reserve or before the balance is requested, and we will email you when it is ready. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the United Kingdom.
Reservations & payment
Most pieces here are reserved ahead of production and sold by reservation, not held in stock. Pieces marked as available from UK stock, or as incoming, are reserved from an allocation that already exists and follow the same terms. Reserve with a 10% deposit and pay the balance only when the statue is physically with us and ready to ship — not on an estimated date — or pay in full now and save 5%. If a release slips we say so, on the release tracker and by email. The deposit is non-refundable: if you cancel we retain 10% of the price — for a deposit reservation that is your deposit; if you paid in full, 10% is retained and the balance returned. If we cannot supply a piece you have reserved, we refund everything you have paid in full.
