Batman collectors do not sort by studio. They sort by suit. The editions here span the 1989 film, the sonar suit from Batman Forever, the Hush and Rebirth comics runs, Jorge Jimenez's Justice League design, the Absolute redesign, and the Death Metal books where the character is barely himself any more. Each is a different silhouette: cowl height, cape weight, the shape of the emblem and whether there is an emblem at all. Two suits from the same era sit together well. A 1989 cowl next to an Absolute cowl does not, and the reason is design intent, not quality.
That much most people work out for themselves. The problem they do not see coming is scale.
Batman exists across this page and the wider DC range at 1/10, 1/4, 1/3 and, in the case of the 1989 piece, 1/2. Those are not variations on a theme. As a rough guide, 1/10 lands around 20–25cm, 1/4 around 45–55cm before the base, and 1/3 nearer 60–70cm — with several Batman pieces here clearing 85cm once the base and cape are counted. Put two Batmen from different tiers on one shelf and the eye does not read them as two interpretations. It reads the smaller one as broken, or the larger one as showing off. One Batman at 1/4 and one at 1/10 is the single most common regret in this part of the hobby.

Occasionally, yes. Bonus versions sometimes add a base element or an accessory that raises the overall height or footprint. Check the listed dimensions on the version you are actually reserving rather than the standard one.
Same scale, without much hesitation. Two eras at one scale looks like a collection of interpretations. One era at two scales looks like an accident.
