The Joker (Concept Design by Lee Bermejo) is Prime 1 Studio’s 1/4 statue under the Batman licence. It stands 53 cm tall including the base, which makes it a centrepiece: one to a shelf. Pieces this size in polystone can exceed the load rating of standard glass shelves, so confirm both the assembled weight and the shelf’s rating before display; where the net weight is unconfirmed, use a suitably rated solid surface or plinth. Our scale guide has the cabinet measurements.
This piece is still at pre-order: our distributor is taking orders for it, and it comes to us once the studio has produced it. The studio’s current expectation is Q1 2028, last checked on 14 October 2026. Studio dates on pieces at this stage do slip, which is why we show the history rather than hide it.
Reserving it costs a £146.50 deposit against £1,464.99, or 5% off for paying in full up front; the balance is asked for only once the piece is with us and has passed our inspection. The deposit is non-refundable; because the piece costs more than £100, paying any part of it by credit card may bring Section 75 protection. Delivery to mainland UK is included and, because we import it, there is no duty or courier VAT bill at the door.
Prime 1 Studio, in Tokyo, works mostly at 1/4 and 1/3 in polystone, and its larger pieces are the heaviest things we sell — multi-box deliveries need two people on the day. This sculpt is offered in more than one edition; the comparison further down shows what each adds and what it costs.

Description
“THERE’LL ALWAYS BE A JOKER.” Re-sculpting Lee Bermejo’s concept in 1/4 scale Written by Brian Azzarello. Illustrated by Lee Bermejo. From the crime-noir graphic novel that made an impact in the 2000s, “The Joker” joins the Ultimate Premium Masterline. With Bermejo himself brought on as concept designer, the 1/3 scale statue announced in 2019 returns—now realized in a more compact 1/4 scale. Reddish whites of the eyes, a mouth torn open with raw realism, and a yellowed set of teeth that leaves an unsettling impression. The pale facial elements have been updated with sculpting and paintwork refined over roughly seven years. From the coat sweeping in motion to the exotic leather shoes, every detail captures Bermejo’s style with high fidelity. The special base also incorporates motifs from “Batman: Noël.” Batman, stripped of freedom. Robin appearing along the side. The Bat-Signal carved into the back. By setting these elements beneath him, the Joker’s presence is emphasized even further. Reappearing with a display-friendly size and evolved three-dimensional expression, Lee Bermejo’s Joker returns once more. Bring him to your DC collection.

Care
Polystone and resin are heavy and brittle rather than flexible. Dust with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth, keep the piece out of direct sunlight to protect the paintwork, and never use solvents or household cleaners on painted surfaces. Lift it by the base, never by a limb, weapon or cape, and take off any separate parts before moving it.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation, whatever the price of the piece: there is no delivery charge at checkout and nothing added when the balance is settled. Most pieces ship with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed in the studio's own shipper; the largest travel palletised or by two-person courier, with a delivery day arranged with you. Once the balance is settled, dispatch follows within a few working days and you will have the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. Or collect it free from the Loaded Dice shop at 28 Holton Road, Barry CF63 4HD: tell us when you reserve or before the balance is requested, and we will email you when it is ready. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the United Kingdom.
Reservations & payment
Most pieces here are reserved ahead of production and sold by reservation, not held in stock. Pieces marked as available from UK stock, or as incoming, are reserved from an allocation that already exists and follow the same terms. Reserve with a 10% deposit and pay the balance only when the statue is physically with us and ready to ship — not on an estimated date — or pay in full now and save 5%. If a release slips we say so, on the release tracker and by email. The deposit is non-refundable: if you cancel we retain 10% of the price — for a deposit reservation that is your deposit; if you paid in full, 10% is retained and the balance returned. If we cannot supply a piece you have reserved, we refund everything you have paid in full.
