Description
Immortal beings many times the size of ordinary birds of prey, the Great Eagles of the Misty Mountains flew so high that the only the sharp eyes of Elves could discern them in the blue.
Invisible and untouchable, their mastery of the sky was unrivalled till Saurons Ringwraiths took to the air upon the backs of fell winged beasts during the War of the Ring. Even the Dragons of old could not match their aerial prowess, and so keen was their sight that they marked even the stirring of a mouse upon the mountainside. Orcs tread openly on the slopes at their peril, and Wargs kept to the deep forests where trees shielded their passing.
In the days of the Third Age the mightiest of the Eagles was Gwaihir the Windlord. Friend to Gandalf the Grey, he bore the Wizard upon his back and more than once flew to his aid when great need called.

Care
Polystone asks little: a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth for dust, a spot out of direct sunlight to protect the paintwork, and never solvents or household cleaners on painted surfaces. Fabric elements prefer a gentle brush to compressed air, which drives dust into seams rather than off them. Pieces with lighting should be unplugged before cleaning.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation, whatever the price of the piece: there is no delivery charge at checkout and nothing added when the balance is settled. Every piece ships with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed in its studio shipper. Once the balance is settled, dispatch follows within a few working days and you will have the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the United Kingdom.
Reservations & payment
Every piece here is a special order — made to order and sold by reservation, not held in stock. Reserve with a 10% deposit and pay the balance only when the statue is physically with us and ready to ship — not on an estimated date — or pay in full now and save 5%. If a release slips we say so, on the release tracker and by email. The deposit is non-refundable: if you cancel we retain 10% of the price — for a deposit reservation that is your deposit; if you paid in full, 10% is retained and the balance returned. If we cannot supply a piece you have reserved, we refund everything you have paid in full.
