Description

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Monsterverse, Mothra makes her debut in the Ultimate Diorama Masterline series, from the epic film "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire".
When a battle that will decide the fate of the world begins, she appears with a mighty beat of her wings. This statue captures the legendary guardian deity, passed down among the Iwi, in a dramatic diorama. The setting is the Hollow Earth, where ancient ruins rise from the ground. Floating rocks and crystal formations glowing with LED light are skillfully arranged to evoke a sense of soaring through the sky. The entire silhouette forms a soft, inverted triangle, reminiscent of ancient goddess figures, emphasizing the mysterious maternal aura that Mothra embodies.
Her vividly colored wings were created through countless references to film footage and official materials. Sculpted textures mimic the delicate surfaces of fine hairs and wing membranes, and each intricately layered color has been painted with care. Polystone asks little: a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth for dust, a spot out of direct sunlight to protect the paintwork, and never solvents or household cleaners on painted surfaces. Fabric elements prefer a gentle brush to compressed air, which drives dust into seams rather than off them. Pieces with lighting should be unplugged before cleaning.
