Halidom’s note
Batman (Battle Damaged Version) is Hot Toys’ 1/6 figure from the DC Comics range. It stands 32 cm tall including the base, which is roughly a hand-span tall: two or three to a shelf in a RUDSTA-class cabinet. Our scale guide has the cabinet measurements.
This piece is still at pre-order: our distributor is taking orders for it, and it comes to us once the studio has produced it. The studio’s current expectation is Q3 2027, last checked on 14 October 2026. Studio dates on pieces at this stage do slip, which is why we show the history rather than hide it.
Reserving it costs a £29.20 deposit against £301.99, or 5% off for paying in full up front; the balance is asked for only once the piece is with us and has passed our inspection. The deposit is non-refundable; because the piece costs more than £100, paying any part of it by credit card may bring Section 75 protection. Delivery to mainland UK is included and, because we import it, there is no duty or courier VAT bill at the door.
Hot Toys’ 1/6 figures are articulated, with tailored fabric costumes rather than a single sculpt, so they are posed rather than fixed — keep them out of direct sunlight, which fades fabric before it fades paint.

Description
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller's comic series Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns. In this classic story, an aging 55-year-old Bruce Wayne emerges from a decade of retirement to reclaim the mantle of the Dark Knight in a decaying, crime-ravaged Gotham. No longer the sleek vigilante of his youth, this brutish Batman fights with raw ferocity against street gangs, Joker, and even a government-controlled Superman, embodying an uncompromising vision of justice in a world gone mad.
To celebrate this milestone, Sideshow and Hot Toys is thrilled to announce the Batman™ (Battle Damaged Version) Sixth Scale Collectible Figure. The sixth scale figure includes a newly developed Bruce Wayne head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs and blood paint applications that convey the sufferings of combat. An additional blue Batman cowled head comes with three interchangeable lower faces, allowing collectors to recreate moments straight from the pages of the iconic comic. The figure features a specialized muscular body that is built to convey the strength and physicality of this older, battle-hardened Dark Knight. Six interchangeable gloved hands with blood paint applications support a wide range of dynamic combat poses, including newly developed battle-damaged fists, opened gesture hands, and weapon-holding hands.
The gray battle-worn Batsuit is finely tailored in elastic fabric material, complete with realistic tears and blood paint applications. A wired and weathered blue cape flows behind him, while the utility belt, forearm gauntlets, and boots all feature blood paint applications. The figure also comes with a cowl in a mask-off state that can be attached to the body with the Bruce Wayne head sculpt, allowing for the replication of the look with the cowl removed for an alternative display style. Armed for war, Batman comes equipped with four Batarangs, a rope-attached Batarang, and a rifle. The figure is completed with a specially designed display stand.
Scarred but unstoppable, this Battle-Damaged Batman action figure stands as a powerful tribute to one of the most influential depictions of the Dark Knight.
Care
This is an articulated figure, typically with a tailored fabric costume and parts that swap. Support the joint you are moving and pose it gently: forced joints and pegs can snap, and over-posing loosens them. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades fabric before it fades paint, and use a soft brush rather than compressed air, which drives dust into seams. Keep spare hands and accessories in their original trays.
Delivery
Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation, whatever the price of the piece: there is no delivery charge at checkout and nothing added when the balance is settled. Most pieces ship with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed in the studio's own shipper; the largest travel palletised or by two-person courier, with a delivery day arranged with you. Once the balance is settled, dispatch follows within a few working days and you will have the tracking number as soon as the label is printed. Or collect it free from the Loaded Dice shop at 28 Holton Road, Barry CF63 4HD: tell us when you reserve or before the balance is requested, and we will email you when it is ready. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the United Kingdom.
Reservations & payment
Most pieces here are reserved ahead of production and sold by reservation, not held in stock. Pieces marked as available from UK stock, or as incoming, are reserved from an allocation that already exists and follow the same terms. Reserve with a 10% deposit and pay the balance only when the statue is physically with us and ready to ship — not on an estimated date — or pay in full now and save 5%. If a release slips we say so, on the release tracker and by email. The deposit is non-refundable: if you cancel we retain 10% of the price — for a deposit reservation that is your deposit; if you paid in full, 10% is retained and the balance returned. If we cannot supply a piece you have reserved, we refund everything you have paid in full.
