If Zavvi was holding a pre-order for you, it will not arrive: the administrators of ZavviGroup Ltd confirmed on 12 October 2026 that outstanding orders and pre-orders cannot be fulfilled. This page does two things. It points you to the quickest way to get your money back, and, if you still want the piece, it explains how reserving with us works, including what we cannot promise. Halidom has no connection with Zavvi or its administrators.
First, get your money back
Do this before anything else. Each route depends on how you paid.
- Credit card, item over £100. Claim from your card provider under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. It applies even if only the deposit went on the card.
- Debit card, or an item of £100 or less. Ask your bank for a chargeback, and do it now rather than waiting for the original release date: the window is usually 120 days, and the safe assumption is that it started on 12 October.
- PayPal. Open an item-not-received dispute within 180 days of the payment. If it is older than that, ask the provider of the card behind the payment about chargeback.
- Anything else. Email the administrators at Zavvigroupltd@bdo.co.uk; the automatic reply explains how to submit a claim.
The full detail, with sources, is in our Journal piece Zavvi has entered administration: what pre-order customers can do now. Every one of these routes is free; you do not need a claims firm.
Then, if you still want the piece
Many of the licensed statues Zavvi listed were sold by other UK retailers too, and some of those editions are still open. Search for it here by character or studio. Every product page shows whether the edition is still taking reservations, the quarter it is expected to dispatch and the date we last checked that with our distributor.
If you cannot find it, email hello@halidom.uk with the name of the piece and the studio. We will ask our distributor whether an allocation is available and tell you plainly, yes or no. There is no obligation and nothing to pay to ask.
How a reservation with us works
- Ten per cent now, the rest at the end. A 10% deposit holds the piece. The balance is requested only when it has arrived with us and passed inspection, never on an estimated date.
- The price is fixed. What you see includes duty, import VAT and mainland UK delivery, and it does not change if the trade price or exchange rate moves before release.
- Dates are shown, and so are changes. When a date moves we email you and keep the old one struck through beside the new one on the release tracker.
- If we cannot supply it, you get back everything you have paid within fourteen days.
- If you change your mind, we retain 10% of the price, which for a deposit reservation is the deposit. That is the amount we remain liable for to the manufacturer once your order is placed.
Deposits are moved into a separate Loaded Dice Ltd bank account used for nothing else. That is a ring-fence, not a trust: if we failed, it would not protect you. The protection that would is your card, which is why we suggest paying the deposit with a credit card. Why you can trust us with a deposit sets this out in full, and how reservations work has the rest of the terms.
What we cannot do
- Honour Zavvi's prices or take over Zavvi orders. Your contract was with ZavviGroup Ltd, and your claim belongs with your card provider or the administrators. A reservation here is a new purchase at our price.
- Source every piece. We buy through one UK-invoicing distributor and do not carry every studio. Editions that were exclusive to Zavvi are unlikely to be available from us or anyone else, and some editions have already sealed.
- Match Zavvi's dates. Our expected quarter comes from our own distributor's schedule and may differ from what you were shown before.
Who we are
Halidom is a trading name of Loaded Dice Ltd, company number 12429789, incorporated in January 2020. The company runs the Loaded Dice shop at 28 Holton Road, Barry, where any reserved piece can also be collected free. Its filings are public at Companies House. If you would rather talk it through, ring 01446 789 088, Tuesday to Saturday 10:30–16:30 or Sunday 11:00–15:00. We deliver to mainland UK only.
The refund routes above are a plain-English summary as of 14 October 2026 and not legal or financial advice. Your card provider and the administrators decide your own claim.
