Pure Arts

PureArts made its name on Assassin's Creed and on objects you can hold: life-size replicas, wearable masks, and the affordable PVC lines that put a well-finished 1/8 figure on a shelf for the price of a video game. Who PureArts are

PureArts is a Hong Kong studio with a long-running relationship with Ubisoft — it has produced the official Assassin's Creed statues and replicas for over a decade, and the Animus line carries the game's own design language onto the base. That partnership defines the studio's range: where Iron Studios builds breadth across dozens of licences, PureArts goes deep on a few and follows each one up the scale, from a pocket-money PVC figure to a one-to-one replica of the object the character holds.

Three kinds of PureArts piece

The PVC lines — Animus for Assassin's Creed, and the Court of the Dead figures produced under licence from Sideshow — are the entry point: 1/8 scale, around 27 to 28 cm, factory-painted PVC rather than polystone, and priced so that a full cast is a realistic ambition. They are lighter and more forgiving than resin and sit comfortably on any glass shelf. The polystone statues are the studio's premium tier, usually 1/4 scale, numbered, and built around the studio's strength in weathered surfaces and translucent effects. And the 1:1 replicas and art masks — a Borderlands Psycho mask, a hidden blade — are wall or plinth pieces, made to be looked at close up and occasionally worn.

The product title says which you are looking at: "PVC Statue" is the PVC line, a fraction such as 1/4 with no material word is polystone, and "Replica" or "Mask" is exactly that.

What reserving from us actually means

PureArts PVC pieces generally arrive faster than polystone — six to twelve months from announcement is typical — while the statues and replicas run longer. Every product page shows the quarter we currently expect the piece and the date we last checked that with our distributor; the release tracker lists all of them, and a moved date stays visible beside the new one.

You reserve with a 10% deposit; the balance is requested only when the piece is physically with us and has passed inspection. The deposit is non-refundable — if you cancel before dispatch we retain 10% of the price, which for a deposit reservation is the deposit. Where a statutory right to cancel applies it is unaffected. Duty, VAT and mainland UK delivery are in the price shown. The full picture is on how reservations work.

PVC or polystone?

Honestly: if the piece is going on a glass shelf with a dozen others, PVC is the better material. It weighs a fraction of resin, survives a knock, and PureArts' paint work on the Animus line is good enough that the difference only shows under a lamp at arm's length. Polystone is for the piece that stands alone. Our scale guide covers the weight and shelf-load side of the decision.

Common questions

Are PureArts PVC figures painted?

Yes — fully factory-painted and finished, not kits. They arrive assembled apart from the base.

Are the 1:1 replicas wearable?

The art masks are made to be worn for display and photography, not as safety equipment; the product page states the materials and fit. Replica weapons are display objects.

Are PureArts statues limited?

The polystone statues are numbered editions and the product page shows the size where the studio has published it. PVC lines are open production.
